5-Minute Traditional Tasting Lasagna: Single Serving Substitutes for Low Carb and Low Fat Options

This recipe is a time-saver!


Ingredients:

Ricotta Cheese (Substitute with Cottage cheese for lower fat)  

Cold cut chicken slices in place of lasagna noodles.

Precooked Italian Chicken or meatballs

Parmesan

Low Sugar Pasta Sauce

Low fat (part-skim milk) mozzarella cheese

 

Prepare:

Crumble:  2-3 precooked Italian meatballs in zip lock bag

Combine with pasta sauce

Heat in microwave until 1st bubble

 

Start layering:

Layer in single serving small pie pan or breakfast cereal sized bowl

Chicken cold cut slice

Meatball/pasta sauce

Ricotta cheese (or ricotta)

Mozzarella cheese

Continue layering to desired height

Top with pasta sauce and parmesan

 

Back in Microwave 1-1/2 minutes to melt cheese
